Are Beans the Secret to Mom Energy?

Apparently, beans are the answer to everything.
I spent Saturday night deep in a rabbit hole called BeanTok.

According to the women who have popped into my feed, if you eat 2 cups of beans every day all of your ailments will be healed and your wildest dreams will come true.

Ok, not exactly that, but their claims are pretty compelling and I am tempted to give it a try.

Whether or not there's magic in the beans, I know that it can't be bad for you to add more protein and fiber into my diet. In fact, I know this is exactly what I should be doing for more energy and a laundry list of other benefits.

Last week, Allegra Gast came on the podcast to share how her motherhood journey changed dramatically when she improved her nutrition. If you missed that episode, check it out. This week she's back to share easy ways we can improve our quality of life just by being more intentional with what we eat.

What I love about Allegra is that this isn't really about "shoulds" or diets or shaming or anything like that, it's gentle tips to help yourself feel better through adding fiber, protein, and electrolytes into your life.

And let's face it, we need all of the help we can get these days.

So if you’ve been feeling off and wondering why... this conversation might give you some answers (and more energy).
